Daily Post

Today I do something different from what i been doing, today I use excel, I have to like type the order#,return date,order date,and the item # in to excel for think i forgot why they need it but i just do the work so i don't care, and I ran out to pick up the food for the boss( don't know how to spell his name) since no one is available to go so one of the worker ask me to go (Amy) that her name. Than come back start the work again until time for me to go. WOW! i don't think i type that much before cool. I like today.

Midpoint Reflection Questions

How has the internship been the same as and/or different than your expectations?
I was expecting a lot of works, at my intern is pretty relax I think but not when doing the same thing over and over, I still like it.

What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment? What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace?
um the school is more people and talk a lot. In my workplace is lest people only inside the building not out side the street.Copy some paper, excel, use a website and work with excel together.

What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults?
Good nothing much but good.

What challenges at the internship have you faced that you have overcome and how did you overcome them?
I don't think i have any challenges yet! The stuffs i do is kind of easy.

What challenges have you faced in school as a result of the altered schedule and how are you handling them?
It didn't really like challenges to me that change schedule, somehow I handle them okay just like normal school days.

What goals are you working to accomplish during the remainder of the internship?
To learn what is it like to work in the real world.

What new things have you learned about New York City?
They are office workers that have more than any state or city.

Daily Post April 10 to April 16

April 10th
I think i was using excel to do the work is it to like calculate the price of the jewelries on the excel and I learn that the excel have math formula that can calculate on it own.

April 14
I went in as usual than I go to the desk were i us to sit and get a list of style numbers and pull the card sheet out and make a copy of it do that for the whole day.

April 15
I use excel again and i just the same things but a little different this time I go to sears.com than on the excel have the items numbers than I copy them and past on the sears.com where the search on and find the price and put it on where i copy the item number.

April 16
Today I put the card sheet back to the folders when I'm done I go back to get the list of the style numbers and copy them that the whole day again.
