Daily Post
Today I do something different from what i been doing, today I use excel, I have to like type the order#,return date,order date,and the item # in to excel for think i forgot why they need it but i just do the work so i don't care, and I ran out to pick up the food for the boss( don't know how to spell his name) since no one is available to go so one of the worker ask me to go (Amy) that her name. Than come back start the work again until time for me to go. WOW! i don't think i type that much before cool. I like today.

Midpoint Reflection Questions
How has the internship been the same as and/or different than your expectations?
I was expecting a lot of works, at my intern is pretty relax I think but not when doing the same thing over and over, I still like it.
What is similar and different about the culture of the school environment versus the workplace environment? What new skills have you learned that apply to the workplace?
um the school is more people and talk a lot. In my workplace is lest people only inside the building not out side the street.Copy some paper, excel, use a website and work with excel together.
What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers? How have you grown as a result of interacting with professional adults?
Good nothing much but good.

It didn't really like challenges to me that change schedule, somehow I handle them okay just like normal school days.

April 10th
I think i was using excel to do the work is it to like calculate the price of the jewelries on the excel and I learn that the excel have math formula that can calculate on it own.
April 14
I went in as usual than I go to the desk were i us to sit and get a list of style numbers and pull the card sheet out and make a copy of it do that for the whole day.
April 15
I use excel again and i just the same things but a little different this time I go to sears.com than on the excel have the items numbers than I copy them and past on the sears.com where the search on and find the price and put it on where i copy the item number.

Today I put the card sheet back to the folders when I'm done I go back to get the list of the style numbers and copy them that the whole day again.

I wend to my internship and they give me two list of numbers they callit style numbers that number help them to organized the jewelry. I use this list to find that paper with all the information about that jewelry so i take it out and make a copy of it and put the original back on the folder. I do this everyday for this past few weeks all the way to april 9th.

March 24th
I going in my intership site and walk to the back room and say "hi to the people" than i ask the woman sit in front me and i ask what works for me than she told me go to the show room where they hav meetings so i went in and my mentor and other people in there they told me to help them to put some jewerly on the box where it keep the jewerly organized i finish at 4 so i leave.
March 25th
I went in as usual i just go in and finish i didnt finish yesterday so it take me 3 hours to finish it.

Third Week Assignment
Describe one significant activity or project that you have completed or are working on currently.
Well at my inter job i haven't star any projects yet or working on currently, but sometime i go to the showroom where they have meetings with other companies, i go in and organized the stuffs in the room and im organized the jewelry for them so they can show to the buyers. Oh im not lying if you don't believe me you can go ask ms carol i think she knows.

At the second week they say im going to do some new i was really happy cuz i was bore of doing the paper organized, so at the second week i separated the rings, earrings, and pendents.
How was it different than the first week?
umm really different!

The End of the First Week of Internships
What is it?
It a company, call Ambras.What kind of business is it and what kind of work do the professionals do there?
They like sort of designing jewelry, shipping the jewelry to other companies. There like three or four group of professionals and each group do different stuffs, the group in the front they like accounting, and the group I'm in is like take care of other companies, answers the phone, organize the jewelry and last and not lest they also like design the jewelry. The last group do is to ship the jewelry to buyers.
Where is it?
It locate at 469 7th Ave 7th floor.

My mentor is really nice.
What happened on the first day?
On the first day I been give some folders and a lot of paper to put them back in orders.
